About Me
How'd I get here: My journey from the traditional four walls of a classroom to where I am now is rooted in embracing a growth mindset and striving for bigger goals. Teaching has always been close to my heart, but I began to see opportunities beyond the classroom to make a broader impact. I wanted to help others learn in ways that weren’t limited by space or structure. My passion for education hasn’t changed; it’s just grown to match my bigger vision.

My drive: At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: to inspire lifelong learning. Whether it’s designing a course or creating learning materials, I aim to make content that truly resonates and helps people grow. For me, it’s about creating spaces where individuals and organizations can thrive.

What I Bring to the Table: I bring a mix of expertise and empathy to learning design. While earning my master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Alabama, I honed my skills in design models and strategies. Beyond that, I have a knack for understanding people and seeing things from different perspectives. That balance of knowledge and intuition helps me design experiences that feel meaningful and engaging.

The Fun Stuff: When I'm not immersed in instructional design, you’ll likely find me wandering thrift stores, paintbrush in hand, ready to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Just like in learning design, it’s all about seeing potential, embracing creativity, and enjoying the journey of transformation.
